The M Art Gallery displays contemporary art in symbiosis with authentic ethnographic art and organises an exhibition at least twice a year. The gallery is part of an early 19th-century residence located in the historic downtown area. You will find a permanent collection of their own work and of Mechelen artists, including paintings, sculpture, glass art, watercolours, drawings and etchings. In addition, there is also a range of authentic ethnographic sculptures and objects. As a visitor, you can enjoy various art forms in the gallery as well as in the garden. M Art Gallery represents, among others, the painters Willy Van Eeckhout, Brice Heyndels, Paul Vernimme, and sculptors Roger De Haes and Etienne Dekimpe.
