Galerie Duende was founded as an independent initiative to give people with special needs the opportunity to meet and draw creative inspiration from artists from the regular art circuit and then to show their work to the public at large.
El duende is a Spanish term for the mysterious power we experience inside us as a physical/emotional response to different art forms. So the gallery is a place where people with learning difficulties can express themselves to the outside world through art and social-artistic projects.
The products of their imagination are definitely worth a look!
