Frantoiani – Olive Oil Tasting

Masterclass in olive oil tasting & foodpairing experience

During the tasting, I will take you on a journey through the Italian olive oil landscape. You will learn how olive oil is made and how to interpret the different wording on a label. Furthermore, I will explain how to evaluate olive oil, and we will taste 6 different oils. The tasting is an ideal first step to get to know your own preference in terms of fragrance and taste.

A second step is to discover the right olive oil for a particular food element or dish. Different combinations are tasted through a food pairing experiment. With savoury and sweet snacks, sometimes classic, sometimes surprising, we explore together the unique (added) value of olive oil as a flavour enhancer for your dishes.
