At De Gouden Kooi (the Golden Cage), you will take on the guise of a treasure hunter, master thief or detective for one hour. Solve the puzzles, find an answer to the riddles and, most importantly, work together. Only then will you succeed in your mission: to escape! Ideal for team building or as a fun night out with friends and family.
Three different formulas
Escape games
Together with friends, family or colleagues, you will be ‘locked’ in a mysterious room for 60 minutes. You have 1 hour to escape. The key: to solve a series of interesting and varied puzzles. Collaboration and inventiveness are crucial to success. Furthermore, you will also be part of a unique story in every room.
Escape experiences
De Gouden Kooi/The Golden Cage – Escape experience is the second De Gouden Kooi location and offers you larger escape rooms, more experiences, more special effects and a longer playing time! Take part in an escape experience and then head to the city centre.
Escape walk
Discover the city while puzzling with this escape walk through Mechelen. This is not a standard walk with smartphone or tablet but real puzzles at various locations integrated into the city. The activity is designed for 2–6 walkers and lasts a maximum of two and a half hours.
