Discover the warbird routes by jeep
During the air war in WW2, several thousand ‘warbirds’ over Belgium were hit by anti-aircraft or enemy aircraft, on both sides. Some of these planes made it home, but many crashed into enemy territory. The names of these aircraft are now household names: P47 Thunderbolt, P51 Mustang, Spitfire, Messerschmitt BF109E, Stuka, Halifax and Lancaster are names that just about everyone knows, if only because of iconic TV series and films like Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, The Battle of Britain, etc ...
When the Liberation was in sight, the V-offensive began and our province was hit by thousands of missiles. Some also ended up in Mechelen causing dozens of casualties.
Assemble your team and step into an original Willys Jeep for a unique, historic experience.
