Water once brought prosperity to the city. Find out why the River Dyle was the lifeblood of Mechelen as you and your group explore the Melaan and other typical streams from the plank bridges along the river banks.
Your guide will take you via the Ijzerenleen, past the Botanical Gardens to the Molenhuis and Spuihuis mills and via the Dyle Path and the Haverwerf to the Grote Markt. A visit to the restored Spuihuis is an additional attraction on this guided tour (available on request).
