The permanent exhibition shows a beautiful selection of pieces familiar to all generations. They tell the story behind questions like, ‘What does it mean to play?’, ‘How were games played in our regions in the past?’, ‘Why do we play?’, and ‘Who’s playing?’ The museum preserves a collection of toys from the Middle Ages to the present day, all of them played with in Belgium. You can easily dive into the collection via information screens and your own personal armband.
You can also immerse yourself in the story thanks to countless gaming experiences. Take up the challenge in a real museum game. Score points during your museum visit by collecting skills with your avatar. Then indulge yourself in a room full of game set-ups that will get young and old playing!
